What is Wind Energy?
Offering a clean and efficient source of electricity from wind turbines, this sustainable and reliable form of energy is ideal for addressing issues concerning limited land and remote locations. Requiring a low initial cost and minimal maintenance in comparison with existing power plants, wind energy systems provide a highly feasible solution.
What is Solar Energy?
Solar power is quite simply energy from the sun. Through a variety of modern day technologies, solar radiation may be converted directly into usable energy.
What is Biomass/ Waste Energy?
Unlike burning fossil fuels, biomass energy does not emit ‘new carbon’ in to the atmosphere, and instead secretes a reduced level of C02 emissions through the thermal, chemical and biochemical conversion of biological material from our modern lives. Biomass may be used to generate electricity via steam turbines and gasifiers or to generate heat, via direct combustion.
What is Hydro Electric Energy?
By harnessing the power of moving water via turbine devices, which converts kinetic energy into power, Hydro Electric generates electricity from a clean energy source and offers a real alternative to energy generation in locations of estuaries, fast flowing rivers, and off-shore.
What are FITs?
Feed-In-Tariffs, or FITs, form the electricity part in a green energy cash back scheme, with payments made to the users of generated renewable energy. As well as offering payment on all produced electricity, FITs also provide bonus payments on electricity exported into the grid.
Will we charge you for an initial project assessment?
We do not charge an initial project evaluation fee and fund all assessments and due diligence tests, instead requesting receipt of a potential client’s strong intention and the ability to perform, alongside a formal letter of interest/ MOU and a completed questionnaire.
What is a PPA?
A Power Purchase Agreement, or PPA, is essentially a contract to buy the electricity generated from a power plant and forms a critical part in assessing the feasibility of a renewable energy project. The PPA not only secures a long term stream of revenue, it is also outlines the agreement length, the commissioning process, the purchase and sale of the green energy, curtailment agreements, transmission issues, milestones and defaults, the credit, insurance and any special environmental attributes.
Do we focus on certain locations?
Our current focus is to deliver renewable energy projects in Africa, Europe and South America. Saying that we are fully accommodating and we have worked in many other countries to deliver and manage renewable energy projects.
What are our typical project sizes?
Wind Energy: from 50 MW to 1,000 MW.
Solar Energy: from 25 MW to 1,000 MW.
Biomass/ Waster Energy: from 25 MW to 100MW.
Hydro Electric Energy: from 50 MW to 1,000 MW.
